What’s new in the Rewards program?
We now have tiers! Members can progress through Movie Star, Movie Critic, and Movie Director tiers based on how many times they visit each year. Each tier unlocks higher earning rates, special gifts, and extra perks, making every visit even more rewarding.
How do tiers work?
Your tier is based on how many movie tickets you purchase in a calendar year (limited to one credit per day):
• 0–3 visits → Movie Star
• 4–6 visits → Movie Critic
• 7 or more visits → Movie Director
Do I need to sign up again for the new program?
No need! All current members are automatically part of the new tiered program.
Will I keep my existing points?
Yes, your current points stay exactly as they are and can be used under the new structure.
What happens every January?
Each January your visit count resets to zero, but you carry over your current tier status for the new year. To keep that tier for the following year, you’ll need to meet the required visit count again. If not, you’ll move down to the tier that matches your new visit total.
Who can join Cinépolis Rewards?
The program is for personal use only. You must be at least 13 years old to join. Members under 18 must participate with a parent or legal guardian’s consent.
EARNING & REDEEMING POINTS
How do I earn points?
Members earn points on eligible Box Office and Food & Beverage purchases (excluding alcoholic beverages, gift cards, donations, tips, taxes, and other fees):
• Movie Star → 10 points per $1
• Movie Critic → 15 points per $1
• Movie Director → 20 points per $1
What purchases are eligible for points?
Eligible purchases include movie tickets, food, and non-alcoholic beverages made through your Rewards account.
How can I redeem points?
Points can be redeemed for free tickets, snacks, food and other promotional items online, in the app, or in person at the concession counter or with service staff.
Do my points expire?
Points never expire as long as the program remains active. Points have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
Do free tickets or redeemed rewards expire?
Yes. Once you redeem points for a free ticket or reward, it will have an expiration date. Be sure to use it before it expires!
GIFTS & SPECIAL PERKS
What’s the sign-up gift?
New members receive a free Churro Donut as a welcome treat. It’s added to your account after joining and valid for 30 days. Gift item may change based on availability.
Can I choose a different dessert for my sign-up gift?
A: Not at the moment. The Churro Donut is our signature welcome treat!
How does the birthday reward work?
A: Every member receives a birthday gift that varies by tier and is valid during the week of your birthday (Monday – Sunday). Your gift appears automatically in your account at the start of your birth week. Gift items may vary by availability.
What if I can’t visit during my birthday week?
Birthday rewards are only valid during the assigned week. We recommend planning your celebration early so you don’t miss your free treat!
What is Rewards Wednesday?
Rewards Wednesday is a weekly perk for all members! Enjoy an exclusive Food discount every Wednesday (excluding alcoholic beverages and special events). The discount amount varies by tier and is subject to change.
What is the “Keep Your Tier” gift?
Members in the Movie Critic and Movie Director tiers receive a special thank-you gift each January for maintaining their status. Details are announced at the start of each year.

Where can I check my points and tier status?
Log in to your account at www.cinepolisusa.com and go to Membership to see your points, tier, and available rewards. You can also ask a team member at any participating location.
I’m missing points or a reward; what should I do?
Submit an inquiry through our Contact Us form with your name, email, and details of the missing transaction.
Can I transfer points to another person?
No. Points and rewards are non-transferable and can only be used by the member who earned them.
Can Cinépolis change or end the Rewards program?
Yes. Cinépolis may modify or end the program at any time. If the program ends, all unused points and rewards will expire immediately.
How does Cinépolis use my personal information?
Your data is handled according to the Cinépolis Privacy Statement, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
